Yes I know this isnt WoW, but how many of you have had a pet, gotten it to lvl 20, then had to ditch it and get another one. We got storage for materials, why not pets? And pets having their own skill bar would be a great idea too. Not having to waste a skill on Charm and Comfort leaving you with only 6 skills. A bigger variety of pets would be great too. Lions, Gorillas, maybe some Birds that actually hover instead of the Pheonix that hops like a chicken. Even an area where all the animals were lvl 15 and up but very difficult to cap. I think pets are one of the aspects that are significantly overlooked. I would love to use my ranger with Marksmanship skills and have a powerful pet to tag along. Any thoughts?

The pet I would like to see a sloth

It doesnt attack anything- infact it barely moves and holds up the entire group.

I just want a leaner, more aggressive wolf model.... the current one is too puffy and harmless

Now actually to make it serious (apart from considering that desert scene is coming up):
- White Wolves (in Shiverpeaks) and even Black ones that look like wolves not some man-eating beasts...
- Unicorns would be cool but I would also like to see a Pegasus as a pet
- Polar Bears maybe (in Shiverpeaks)
- Lions would be cool and would fit the desert scene (also female ones)
- I'm not fond of Crocodiles but why not (in jungle areas)
- Bull is a good idea (near grasslands... I guess)
- Snakes since lots of ppl like em even if I don't

(jungle as well)
- Scorpions would be cool (fits desert)
- Eagles, Hawks, Ravens (not giant ones and would attack from the air)
- Though we already have Phoenix I would like to see the Fiery one added as well (would even fit the desert scene, Egypt myth)
- Griffons would be nice, but we already have them as hostile monsters
edit: - Thinking back to FF8, why not add a Griever or something similar (a Lion with wings, not bat wings and scorpion tail cuz that's a Manticore)

Well these are the animals that I could imagine as ones that actually attack...

With ur pet and high beast mastery u already deal extra and valuable dmg without even using pet skills... The point of beast mastery is to be able to train and control ur pet with or without skills. With a pet that has it's own skillbar and build u basically add another party member, like having 9 instead of 8... So to make it simple, sorry but I have to disagree...
